The CastleWall® Surgical Technique developed by Dr Cameron Castle, is an evolution of a concept that started in Germany in 2010.
A ground breaking scientific paper was then written in collaboration with Professor Sašo Ivanovski and the Oral Research Unit at The University of Queensland.

Dr Castle is an experienced dental implant surgeon who trained in Germany under the esteemed Professor Georg-Hubertus Nentwig. Dr Castle is an international leader in the field of dental implants and holds a number of related Australian and US patents. His frustration with traditional implant techniques that can be slow, unpredictable and painful were the inspiration for the development of CastleWall® Surgical Technique.

Dr Castle has been lecturing and training dentists on the innovative CastleWall® Surgical Technique since 2018. He is currently the only person in Australia and one of a small group world-wide to publish literature in this specialised field of implant dentistry. Dr Castle attributes his success to his time abroad, having undertaken extensive training in both the US and Germany. Dr Castle believes to excel in implant dentistry, one has to find the balance between surgical training and research. These two elements combined with practicing dentistry for over 20 years were the necessary ingredients that cemented his position as both a mentor and a innovator in implant dentistry internationally.
Dr Castle was one of the first dentists in Australia to adopt Guided Implant Surgery. This technique involves 3D printing a drill guide to precisely place implants in the correction position. He has lectured to both national and international audiences for almost a decade on the benefits of this protocol. In 2017, Dr Castle completed a thesis on this topic in Germany which showcased his skill as not only as inventor but an innovator.
